We are looking for a creative and pragmatic Jr. Graphic & UI Designer to participate in shaping QMENTA visual materials and the User Interface of our products.

For this role, you will collaborate and report directly to the UX Lead. The cross-functional and collaborative workflow will allow you to cooperate with other stakeholders from Marketing, Business & Product teams depending on the scope of the project.

You will ensure that our Branding is consistent and visually appealing on various external and internal channels. You’ll have the ability to convey the messages and information through illustrations, graphics, UI and other visual concepts by participating in shaping Marketing campaigns, providing materials for Business and Product.

Ultimately, you will progress to design aesthetically-pleasing products that capture our brand and engage with our audiences.

• Create visual materials for Marketing & Business (e.g., print, collateral, and presentations)
• Apply meaningful design decisions and effectively explain/discuss them
• Help shaping UI for our products
• Understand the technical constraints for each deliverable
• Understand the brief provided by the stakeholders
• Discuss the brief and argument/advocate design dependencies
• Translate the brief given into an effective visual outcome
• Understand the target audience and design appropriately to their needs
• Understand Business/Marketing needs
• Follow accessibility guidelines
• Participate in design demos and present the latest achievements
• Constantly improve and shape the design process

• 2+ years of practical experience creating visual design materials
• Understanding of design principles and reflection of them in your design process / outcomes
• Communication skills with the ability to discuss design decisions with team members
• Ability to view design though a critical lens
• Warm & empathetic personality
• Happy to discover and learn from applying different design techniques
• Ability to apply designs across multiple platforms and mediums
• Eager to use established design tools, including Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, InVision
• Willing to participate in shaping QMENTA design system(s) for different products
• Proven previous work experience as a Visual, Graphic, UI Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, graphics, brochures, campaigns etc)
• Understanding of responsive design
• Understanding of colour theory, typography, contrast, white space etc
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant qualification

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Video editing skills
• Digital animation
