Senior Medical Sales Executive


Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Sales Executive.

QMENTA is a multi-disciplinary science and engineering start-up that has developed a novel approach to 3D brain reconstructions and proprietary image analysis and visualization techniques to identify disease conditions of the central nervous system (CNS).

Our mission is to organize and quantify imaging information through complex imaging tools in a seamless manner in order to accelerate the discovery and development of cures for brain diseases.

Founded 5 years ago, QMENTA (formerly Mint Labs) is a rapidly growing venture-backed company. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Medical Sales Executive with exceptional experience in healthcare sector, especially in healthcare IT, integrity, and in-depth knowledge of the industry to join our growing team based in Barcelona.

Roles and responsibility
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by presenting the value of QMENTA’s offerings to prospective clients – doctors and investigators – in hospitals (for effective management of patient data and research studies)
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Understand the pharmaceutical clients’ business information needs across a range of business functions, including drug discovery, clinical trials, and personalized medicine
  • Grow and train your own team over time (answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members)
  • Design and optimize the sales pipeline, support in budget planning and assessment of ROI
  • Build brand awareness & reputation by supporting PR activities
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Decide on multi-channel sales, marketing, and growth strategies
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Ensure optimized lead management and CRM
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to identify new sales campaign messages
  • Provide input for product development (‘as voice of the customer’)
  • Build a great network and valuable working relationships and partnerships within the industry and with potential clients
Desired skills and experience

We are looking for a results driven, Senior Medical Sales Executive to join our growing team. You will ideally must  have relevant experience working in Pharmaceutical and/or Life Sciences sales role. You will be highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the motivation to deliver the highest quality of service, taking the time to fully understand the client’s needs and requirements.

  • At least 5 to 7 years of sales experience
  • Experience in healthcare industry, preferably in clinical trials and/or hospital systems
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven and consistent over-achiever
  • Experience in compliance processes
  • Passion for science and/or medicine
  • Experienced in using Hubspot, Salesforce or similar
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in selling at C-suite level
  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Able to meet sales goals and deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, creative and sales motivated
  • Advanced English at bilingual capacity if not native, other European languages are a plus
