Segmentation of hyperintense lesions in white matter from T2-FLAIR imaging using a deep convolutional neural network.
The White Matter Hyperintensity Lesion Segmentation workflow automatically identifies the lesions in T2-FLAIR images and provides a report that details the total amount of lesions, the volume per lesion, and the total lesion volume. This allows the automated monitoring of the progression of neurodegenerative diseases where lesions are the hallmark of the disease, such as Multiple Sclerosis.
